Ifenla Debuts in Theater with "Pit to Palace" at Bradford

Ifenla, currently a Rotary Peace Fellow, began her master’s degree in Peace, Conflict, and Development at the University of Bradford in September 2025. She served as the President of the Drama Society, organizing various theatrical activities.
In March 2026, she executed a three-woman cast performance of the Vagina Monologue and later co-wrote and starred as “Josephine” in the stage play “Pit to Palace,” an adaptation of the Biblical story of Joseph. This production aimed to challenge traditional gender roles in theater and was attended by a diverse audience from the Bradford community.
Ifenla believes that creativity can serve as a powerful tool for peacebuilding. She has a background in theater from her undergraduate studies in law and runs a community organization in Nigeria, Ark and Rainbow Development Foundation, which promotes social change through creativity.
She plans to explore applied theater to address social issues globally.
