Nigerian Wonderkid Yohanna Becomes Most Expensive Teen

Nigerian winger Yohanna has made headlines by becoming the most expensive teenager in football following his transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion. The 18-year-old, who hails from Kaduna, surpassed the previous record held by John Obi Mikel when he moved from Lyn Oslo to Chelsea in 2006.

Brighton secured his signature after beating competition from Newcastle United and Chelsea. Yohanna has signed a five-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2031.

Brighton's young head coach, Fabian Hurzel, expressed admiration for Yohanna's abilities, particularly his impact in the final third of the game. Hurzel noted that while Yohanna will need time to adapt to the Premier League, he is an exciting player who will bring creativity and dynamism to the team's attacking options.

Yohanna graduated from the Ikon Allah Academy, where he scored five goals and provided four assists in 18 matches before his transfer.
