Nigeria’s Booth In Tokyo Is Empty Just Like The Promises Of The Tinubu Govt – Peter Obi

Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, criticized the Nigerian government's empty booth at the Tokyo Olympics, comparing it to the empty promises of the Tinubu administration. In a post on Wednesday, Obi highlighted the ongoing criticism of the government and described the booth's emptiness as a reflection of the consistent emptiness of the Tinubu government's promises to Nigerians.

He expressed disappointment in the lack of strategic engagement by the Nigerian delegation in Tokyo, calling it a shameful representation of the country on the international stage. Obi urged the government to do better and emphasized that Nigerians are tired of excuses.

The Labour Party chieftain's remarks underscore the growing dissatisfaction with the government's performance.
