Nigeria’s future lies in giving voice, power to youths — Aregbesola

The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, emphasized that Nigeria's future lies in empowering the youth. Aregbesola highlighted that the ADC's constitution prioritizes the inclusion of youth and women in leadership roles, with a 35% representation allocated to them.

He urged the party members to focus on strengthening the party from the grassroots and avoid unproductive engagements. Aregbesola, a former governor of Osun State, stressed the importance of rescuing the country from its current challenges and building a new Nigeria for future generations.

The ADC has seen an influx of defectors from other parties, including former PDP chairmen and youth leaders. Aregbesola's call for empowering the youth and prioritizing the welfare of the people in governance was echoed by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The ADC aims to be a movement with a bright prospect for Nigeria's future.
