Lagos: Aregbesola leads ADC membership drive, calls for end to APC rule in 2027

Former Minister of Interior and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola, led a membership drive campaign in Lagos, calling for an end to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general election. Aregbesola criticized the APC, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Labour Party for failing to deliver good governance, presenting the ADC as a credible alternative.

The event in Kosofe Local Government Area drew a significant turnout, signaling growing support for the ADC. Aregbesola urged members to intensify grassroots sensitization and voter registration efforts.

The campaign also reflected a defiance towards the Lagos APC hierarchy, including President Bola Tinubu. Prominent figures at the event emphasized the importance of mass mobilization and pledged transparent leadership within the ADC.

Aregbesola announced the upcoming distribution of ADC membership cards to further support the mobilization effort.
