Victoria Macaulay earned All-Star recognition despite the D’Tigress' inconsistent performance in France, where they concluded their campaign with two wins and three defeats. The team faced a narrow 81-73 loss to Germany on Tuesday.

Macaulay, who scored 35 points, was noted for her steady presence in the paint, combining strength and experience as an anchor for the African champions. Head coach Rena Wakama acknowledged that while the D’Tigress displayed flashes of quality, they struggled to maintain rhythm against stronger opponents.

Nonetheless, Macaulay's output remained reliable, often leading by example when the team needed composure. The FIBA website recognized her contributions, while Janel Salaun was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, alongside other standout players like Marin Johann and Frieda B.
