Nigeria's Merchandise Trade Surges to N38.9 Trillion in Q3 2025

Nigeria's total merchandise trade in Q3 2025 rose to N38.9 trillion, an 8.71% increase from the previous year. The export value accounted for 58.59% of the total trade, with crude oil exports totaling N12.81 trillion.

Non-oil exports contributed N10.01 trillion, including agricultural products, raw materials, solid minerals, and manufactured goods. The export of raw materials saw a significant increase of 136.38%.

Despite a decline in agricultural exports, Nigeria's trade sector remains resilient, driven by the dominance of crude oil exports.
