Bakare Advocates Leadership Continuity for Nigeria's Growth

Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, stated that Nigeria's development is unattainable without leadership continuity. He made this assertion during the public presentation of his three-volume work, "Strategic Intervention in Governance," in Lagos on Sunday.

Bakare warned that the country's institutional weaknesses must be addressed by leaders who accept responsibility for creating enduring systems. He argued that simply changing individuals in government will not resolve Nigeria's recurring crises.

The publication compiles 104 speeches Bakare delivered from 2008 to 2025 across five presidential administrations, focusing on governance, constitutional reform, corruption, and national development. The event attracted notable figures, including former governors and academics.

Reviewer Elder Olabode Adekanye described the work as a significant challenge to the nation, urging Nigerians to take responsibility for solving the country's issues rather than just diagnosing them.
