Tinubu Calls for Patriotic Leadership at Mustapha's Birthday

On Sunday, President Bola Tinubu stated that Nigeria requires leaders who prioritize national development over personal interests during a thanksgiving service at St. Monica Cathedral of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa, celebrating the 70th birthday of Dr. Boss Mustapha, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Represented by Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Tinubu called for a commitment to public good as a core value among public officials and citizens.

He remarked on the significance of the day, not only as a celebration of Mustapha's life but also as a testament to God's faithfulness. Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang praised Mustapha as a model of public service integrity and advocated for unity among political leaders in the Middle Belt region.

Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, represented by his deputy, Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta, also commended Mustapha for his contributions to nation-building.
