Samson Adamu Appointed Acting General Secretary of CAF

Samson Adamu has been appointed as the Acting General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) effective immediately, as confirmed by top sources within CAF. Adamu's appointment follows the resignation of V.

Ron Mosengo Omba, who stepped down under pressure. Mosengo Omba's departure was confirmed after discussions in March 2021 regarding the appointment of Abdelmounaim Bah.

Adamu has been with CAF since 2018, serving as the Director of Competitions, and has previously worked with FIFA as a chief member of the association office.
