Super Falcons Launch 10-Star Jersey for WAFCON Success

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have launched a special commemorative jersey adorned with 10 stars around the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) crest, celebrating their record-breaking success in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). This jersey made its debut during an international friendly match against Tanzania, where the Super Falcons secured a 2-1 victory, marking their final warm-up before the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco.

Each star on the jersey represents one of Nigeria's WAFCON triumphs, acknowledging the Super Falcons as the most successful team in the tournament's history with titles won in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2024. The commemorative design not only honors past achievements but also aims to inspire current players as they pursue further success.

The victory against Tanzania boosts the team's confidence as they target a record-extending 11th WAFCON title, reinforcing their legacy in women’s football.
