Gunmen Attack Angwan Rukuba Community, Several Dead

On Sunday evening, around 7:50 PM, heavily armed gunmen invaded the Angwan Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, unleashing terror on residents. Eyewitnesses reported hearing gunshots, which led many to flee in different directions.

Although the exact number of casualties has not been confirmed, sources within the community indicated that several people were killed and others sustained gunshot wounds. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.

Following the attack, security personnel, including the Nigerian Army, responded to distress calls to help restore calm and assist victims. An investigation has been launched to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack, which has not yet been claimed by any group.
