NIPR Ranks Nasarawa State High in Governance Index

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has ranked Nasarawa State at 83.6% in its governance perception index, reflecting significant improvements in governance. This ranking was revealed by NIPR President Dr.

Alex Neliaku during a presentation in Abuja. Governor Engr.

Abdullahi Sule was honored with the title of patron of the institute, recognizing his efforts to enhance the state's governance reputation. The report indicated a historical improvement from 30.4% in 2024 to 83.6% in 2026.

The governance perception index highlighted various pillars of excellence, including cultural record (84%), social equity (84%), community (84%), innovation (84%), credibility (84%), performance (83%), and leadership (84%). The report emphasized that the highest pillar was citizen perception of governance, indicating a balanced governance perception with no weak links.

Dr. Neliaku noted the immense support from the people of Nasarawa State towards their government.
