NIPR Wins Global Public Relations Award in Lisbon

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has been awarded by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management at the World Public Relations Communication Award 2025 event held in Lisbon, Portugal. This recognition follows a competitive process that attracted 89 entries from 19 countries.

The Acting Director of Public Relations, Duke Imandu, stated that the award acknowledges NIPR's outstanding leadership in the profession and its commitment to enforcing ethical standards and strategic communication advocacy. NIPR's Acting President, Prof.

Emmanuel Dandaura, described the recognition as a global endorsement of the Nigerian profession's excellence in public relations, emphasizing the institute's role in reform and national development. Dr.

Ik Neliaku, NIPR's President, highlighted the visionary leadership that has repositioned the institute for greater relevance. The award will be formally presented during the World Public Relations Forum scheduled for November 15-21, 2026, in Abuja.
