Tinubu Congratulates NIPR on Global PR Award Victory

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulated the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) for emerging as the winner of the 2025 Global Public Relations Association's prestigious World Public Relations Community Award, which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal. In a statement released on Friday by his special adviser on strategic communication, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu noted that this global recognition is a landmark achievement for Nigeria, reflecting the country's growing stature in public relations.

He commended the President and Chairman of the Governing Council of NIPR, Ik Neliaku, and the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Moham Idris, for their exemplary leadership and commitment that culminated in this historic global honor. The award was adjudged the best in the world following a highly competitive process that attracted 89 entries from 19 countries.

Tinubu expressed confidence in NIPR's future and reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting the institute in elevating Nigeria's image internationally.
