NLNG Wins 2026 Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games

The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) emerged as the overall champion of the 2026 Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games (NOGIG), finishing with a total of 52 medals, which comprised 20 gold, 16 silver, and 16 bronze. This victory allowed NLNG to defend its title from the previous tournament.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) secured second place with a total of 49 medals, including 14 gold, 15 silver, and 20 bronze. The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) claimed third position with 18 medals, which included five gold and eight silver.

TotalEnergies finished fourth with 15 medals, consisting of five gold and 10 bronze. Other organizations that completed the top ten positions included Oando, Seplat Energy, PTI, NUPrC, and Western.

The biennial tournament took place from February 8 to 14, 2026, marking a milestone in celebrating four decades of collaborative sports excellence within Nigeria's oil and gas sector. The event was described as a landmark occasion reflecting the industry's enduring commitment to teamwork and corporate camaraderie beyond the workplace.
