NLNG powering Nigeria’s energy future, says NNPC CEO

NNPC CEO Engr Bashir Bayo Ojulari highlighted the crucial role of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) in advancing the country's energy transition and economic stability. During a visit to the NLNG plant in Bonny, Rivers state, Ojulari emphasized NNPC's commitment as a major shareholder in driving the growth and expansion of the company.

He praised NLNG's efforts in exploring opportunities to invest in clean energy infrastructure in line with global targets. The upcoming NLNG Train 7 project was described as strategically important, as it would increase Nigeria's export capacity, create thousands of jobs, and enhance the country's competitiveness in the global liquefied natural gas market.
