Kogi United Announces End-of-Season Break for Players

Kogi United has officially announced an end-of-season break for its players, as stated in a club announcement following a management meeting in Lokoja. The break is intended to provide the team with necessary rest and recovery time after a demanding season.

The management emphasized the importance of this period for players to reflect on their performance throughout the season. Kogi United, which missed promotion to the Nigeria National League, is part of the Nigeria Nationwide League (NLO).

The announcement comes amidst the backdrop of the team's performance, where they were unable to secure a spot in the Nigeria National League playoffs, alongside other teams like Mighty Jets, Danburam FC, DMD FC, and Neurospark, who gained promotion to the Nigeria National League.
