NMA Given Extra Week to Confirm Nnamdi Kanu's Health Status in Court

The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) has been granted an additional week by the Federal High Court in Abuja to confirm the health status of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Kanu's counsel requested urgent medical attention for him due to deteriorating health.

The court had previously ordered the NMA to examine Kanu's health and report back. The case has been adjourned to October 16 for the NMA to present the health report.

Kanu is facing charges of treason and terrorism by the Federal Government.
