Nnamdi Kanu Agrees to Meet Legal Team for Terrorism Trial in Nigeria

Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of IPOB, has agreed to meet his legal team to continue his defense against terrorism charges brought by the Nigerian government. Kanu had previously refused legal representation but later changed his mind.

The court granted an adjournment until November 7, 2025, to allow Kanu time to prepare. Kanu dismissed his former legal team and plans to call 23 witnesses, including prominent figures like Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Nyesom Wike.

The court emphasized the importance of a fair trial and advised Kanu to work closely with experienced criminal lawyers.
