Ohanaeze Youth Council Urges Igbos to Close Businesses in Solidarity Protest for Nnamdi Kanu's Release

The Ohanaeze Youth Council has urged Igbos to close their businesses on October 20 as a show of solidarity for a peace protest march to Aso Rock demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu. The protest will be led by human rights activist Omoyele Sowore.

The statement was made by the OYC National President, Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, who emphasized the moral duty of the Igbo nation to stand for truth, justice, and the rule of law.

The protest aims to highlight the ethnic injustice and political persecution faced by the Igbo community, particularly in the case of Nnamdi Kanu's detention.
