NNPC Enhances Igbobi Hospital with Ward Rehabilitation

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has officially handed over rehabilitated wards to the National Orthopedic Hospital in Igbobi, Lagos. This initiative, part of NNPC's corporate social responsibility, involved the rehabilitation of three wards with a total capacity of 100 beds.

The upgrades included the installation of new beds, a central medical gas system, and improvements to the electrical and mechanical systems, as well as new vinyl flooring. Engr.

Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC, emphasized that the corporation's mission extends beyond profit generation to include significant social impact. Emmanuella Arukw, Managing Director of NNPC Foundation, noted the importance of this intervention in strengthening healthcare services in Nigeria.

Dr. Wakeel Lawal, Medical Director of the hospital, expressed gratitude for the transformation brought about by NNPC's support.

The handover ceremony also featured the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, attended by various dignitaries, including H.R.H. Alhaji Rodiyallahu Alabi Yunusa Baal Bajulaiy and H.R.M.
