NNPCL Cuts Petrol Price To ₦890 Per Litre

NNPCL has reduced the price of petrol to ₦890 per litre at its retail outlet in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. The station, located at Danziyal Plaza in Central Area, Wuse Zone 4, and Wuse Zone 6, has already implemented the new price.

An attendant at the NNPCL station confirmed the price reduction to journalists on Thursday. Additionally, MRS Empire Energy, another Nigerian filling station, adjusted its pump price to ₦890 and ₦895 per litre, respectively.

This price reduction by NNPCL comes two days after the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) was adjusted. Dangote Group's Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, stated that the company is committed to Nigeria's economic development and ensuring a steady supply of petroleum products.

As part of its sustainability drive, the company also announced plans to roll out Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks for nationwide.
