NNPP Alerts Public About Impostors Ahead of 2027 Elections

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) issued a warning regarding individuals posing as party leaders in an attempt to deceive political parties and candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections. This statement was made by the party's Founder, Dr Boniface Aniebonam, in Abuja.

He noted that some expelled members, confirmed by court judgments and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), were misrepresenting themselves to extort money. Aniebonam advised anyone who has paid these impostors to seek refunds.

He reiterated that the NNPP, represented by its basket of fruits logo, is an independent political party and has not entered into any coalition. The party will announce its position on any potential alliances as necessary.

Aniebonam also identified the recognized officials authorized to represent the party: himself as Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr Agbo Major as National Chairman, Mr Oginni Olaposi as National Secretary, Prince Toyese as National Treasurer, and Aisha Kade Onyia as National Woman Leader.
