PDP Affirms No Court Order Blocking National Convention

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clarified that there was no court order preventing them from holding their national convention, as stated by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba. Despite protests from FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and his supporters, Ologunagba emphasized that the convention process followed the party's constitution and guidelines.

He defended the party's decision-making process, stating that all stakeholders were duly informed and included in the proceedings. Ologunagba rejected claims that Wike's demands could disrupt the convention, asserting that the party was committed to following its rules and ensuring a smooth convention.
