Wike's Camp Sets Conditions for PDP Leadership Ahead of National Convention

Ahead of the PDP National Convention, the camp led by Nyesom Wike within the Peoples Democratic Party has set conditions for the party leadership to meet. Key stakeholders, including Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Sam Anyanwu, Dan Orbih, and Samuel Ortom, issued the conditions during a meeting in Abuja.

The group emphasized the importance of equity, inclusivity, and internal democracy within the party, warning that failure to adhere to these principles could render the convention invalid. They called for transparent and inclusive congresses in several states and stressed the need for the National Chairman to align with the zoning formula adopted in the 2021 convention to prevent party destabilization.
