Oyebamiji Pledges to Reinstate Disengaged Workers in Osun

Mr. Bola Oyebamiji, a gubernatorial candidate for the APC in Osun State, made a statement on August 15 regarding the dismissal of 2,000 teachers and health workers from the state workforce. He described the disengagement of these professionals as unfair and regrettable, noting that many lost their jobs without receiving salary payments or arrears.

Oyebamiji emphasized that no genuinely committed government should neglect trained professionals who contribute to public service. He expressed concern that the disengagement of these workers negatively impacts confidence in the civil service and weakens morale within the education and healthcare sectors.

Oyebamiji assured that if elected, his administration would prioritize the reinstatement of the disengaged workers and address issues related to unpaid salaries and outstanding benefits.
