“No more suffering and smiling” – PDP chieftains declare after joining ADC in Osun

Several chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State have defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), citing the PDP's failure to recognize loyal members and internal wrangling. The defection was confirmed in a statement signed by Abosede Oluwaseun, the Publicity Organizing Secretary of the Omoluabi Progressives political movement.

The new members were formally received at the Oranmiyan House in Osogbo. Speaking on behalf of the defectors, Hon Abdulganiyu Akeem emphasized that the people of Osun deserve better and urged the ADC to give young people a meaningful voice in shaping the state's political future.

The Chairman of Omoluabi Progressives, Alhaji Issa Adesiji Azeez, assured the defectors of full integration into the ADC structure and emphasized the party's commitment to inclusivity. The defection is seen as a sign of growing.
