NLC Slams Shettima for Defending Dangote Group - Workers' Rights Violated

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) criticized Vice President Kashim Shettima for defending the Dangote Group, stating that no one is above the law, not even Dangote. NLC President Joe Ajaero accused the group of violating workers' rights, emphasizing that wealth should not override workers' rights as guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution and international labor conventions.

Ajaero called for justice and condemned any injustice in the treatment of workers. The statement follows a report of 800 workers being laid off by the company.
