Kano NLC Rejects Baseless Allegations Against President Ajaero

The Kano State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has refuted allegations made by a coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) against President Joe Ajaero, accusing him of engaging in political activities instead of advocating for workers' rights. The NLC Chairman, Comrade Kabiru Inuwa, dismissed the claims as baseless and misleading, emphasizing the NLC's broader mandate beyond worker welfare.

Inuwa highlighted the NLC's role in defending workers' rights, promoting transparency, and engaging in societal issues like fuel price hikes. The NLC criticized the CSOs for what they termed as misguided activism and reiterated their commitment to advocating for the welfare of workers and pensioners in Nigeria.
