‘No plans to relocate ITF headquartres from Jos’ – Management

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) management has denied any plans to relocate the agency's headquarters from Jos, the capital of Plateau State. This comes after a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon Theodore Bala Maiyaki, raised a motion alleging such a plan during a plenary session.

The ITF, through its Head of Press and Public Relations, Thomas Ngor, refuted the claims, stating that the motion was based on false information and could harm the relationship between the agency and the state. Ngor emphasized that no concrete plans for relocation have been contemplated by the ITF management, Governing Council, or the supervising Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment.

The ITF remains committed to its historical ties with Plateau State since 1976 and will continue its operations in Jos for the foreseeable future. The agency welcomes dialogue with relevant stakeholders to address concerns and strengthen collaboration for mutual benefit.
