ITF refutes relocation report, says headquarters remains in Plateau

The International Trade Fair (ITF) has refuted reports claiming a relocation of its headquarters from Plateau State. The organization dismissed the rumors as false and unfounded, asserting that its headquarters will remain in Jos.

This statement comes in response to a Fund report suggesting a potential move. The Plateau State House Assembly also addressed the issue during a recent plenary session, where Speaker Naanlong Daniel led the rejection of any plans to relocate the ITF headquarters.

Lawmakers expressed concerns that such a move would not only diminish the federal presence in Plateau State but also have negative implications for the local economy. The resolution to oppose the relocation was unanimously agreed upon, emphasizing the importance of retaining the ITF headquarters in Jos.
