Sumner Sambo Critiques Rivers Governor Fubara's Influence

In a segment on Arise Television's morning show, political editor Sumner Sambo expressed strong criticism of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, labeling him as one of the biggest political letdowns in Nigeria. Sambo asserted that Fubara no longer holds significant influence in the political landscape of Nigeria, particularly in relation to the oil-rich Rivers State.

He claimed that Fubara's pursuit of an automatic ticket under President Bola Tinubu indicates a lack of political direction and has contributed to confusion within the state's political framework. Sambo further noted that Fubara has failed to galvanize political support, even struggling to define his own political party.

He emphasized that Fubara's attempts to counter the influence of former Governor Nyesom Wike have not been effective, suggesting that Fubara's political voice is diminishing in importance.
