Nollywood Actress Angela Okorie Granted N5m Bail for Cyberbullying Allegations

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie was granted a N5 million bail by Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja on allegations of cyberbullying Mercy Johnson Okojie, another actress. The court ruled on Okorie's bail application, noting that there was no concrete evidence to prove she would jump bail.

The court exercised judicial discretion in admitting Okorie to bail on the condition of a surety who must be a level 13 civil servant, produce an appointment letter, and submit two passport photographs. The case was adjourned until March 23 for trial, and Okorie was remanded at the Suleja Correctional Center until she meets the bail conditions.
