Nollywood Actress Atinuke Remilekun Kareem Passes Away

Atinuke Remilekun Kareem, a Yoruba Nollywood actress, has passed away following a long struggle with breast cancer. Her death occurred shortly after she publicly requested financial assistance for her medical treatment, approximately four months prior.

Owolabi Ajasa, the President of the Ogun State chapter of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), announced her demise via an Instagram post on Tuesday. In his statement, Ajasa expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed financially, offered prayers, and provided support during Atinuke's illness.

He acknowledged the kindness shown to her family and the community, stating, “Your kindness and sacrifice during her difficult moment meant so much to her family and all of us.” Despite the collective efforts and prayers, Atinuke succumbed to her illness. Ajasa concluded by praying for her eternal rest and offering condolences to her family, colleagues, and loved ones.
