Nollywood Actress Omotunde Ogundimu Seeks Treatment Funds

Nollywood actress Omotunde Ogundimu has been battling cervical cancer since 2024 and is seeking financial help to continue her treatment. In an emotional appeal shared online, she described the physical pain and exhaustion she experiences, particularly pain around her buttocks when urinating.

Ogundimu expressed her desperation, stating, “I just want to be okay. I am exhausted.

I want a peaceful life.” She has relied on her three children for financial support, but they are struggling to cover the costs of her treatment. Initially, Ogundimu kept her health issues private, but she has reached a point where she can no longer afford her medical expenses alone.

With 35 years of experience in the Nollywood industry, she also mentioned the difficulties in securing acting jobs, often earning between ₦20,000 and ₦40,000 per role, which complicates her financial obligations.
