Nigeria's Non-Oil Exports Reach Record $6.1 Billion in 2025

Nigeria's non-oil exports hit an all-time high of $6.1 billion in 2025, marking a substantial increase from the previous year. The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) reported this milestone in their annual progress report, highlighting a year-on-year growth of 11.5%.

Cocoa beans, urea fertilizers, cashew nuts, sesame seeds, and gold dore were among the top non-oil export products. This achievement reflects Nigeria's efforts to reduce its reliance on crude oil and expand market access through product diversification.
