APC Plans Major Rally in Lafia for Tinubu, Shettima

The North Central Grassroots Mobilisation Network has announced a mega rally scheduled for October 10 in Lafia, Nasarawa State, to garner support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in the 2027 general elections. The rally will be hosted by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, with First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu expected to headline the event.

The announcement was made following a meeting of North Central APC stakeholders on October 8, chaired by APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda. The meeting included notable attendees such as Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume, regional governors, ministers, and members of the National Assembly.

Yilwatda expressed condolences for recent tragedies in Ondo and Niger States and emphasized the importance of the rally as a demonstration of the North Central region's commitment to the Tinubu-Shettima ticket. The stakeholders are mobilizing their political structures to ensure a strong turnout at the rally.
