ADC Considers Open Presidential Ticket for 2027 Elections, Zoning Discussed

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is contemplating opening its presidential ticket to candidates from both the North and South of Nigeria. This decision was revealed by the party's National Publicity Secretary after a National Caucus meeting in Abuja.

The ADC spokesperson stated that all aspirants have agreed to support the eventual winner of the presidential primary to ensure unity and victory in the 2027 elections. The party also discussed zoning the presidential ticket, with the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) already zoning it to the South.

Additionally, the ADC directed members to resign from their current political parties and set a timeline for the next year's governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states.
