NWDC Signs $200M MoU to Boost Nigerian Agriculture

The North West Development Commission is set to sign a $200 million Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shanghai Integrated Infrastructure Development Limited and Pearless Advisory Limited to boost agriculture in Nigeria. The MoU aims to enhance commercial farming, modernize technology for local farmers, and improve the livestock sector.

Managing Executive Officer of NWDC, Professor Shehu Abdullahi Aji, highlighted the initiative's alignment with President Bola Tinubu's directive to unlock the region's agricultural potential. This partnership is expected to position Nigeria as a key player in global livestock production.

The collaboration seeks to maximize opportunities in the agricultural sector and drive overall development in the North West region.
