Gombe Governor Mourns Emir Tijjani Ahm Ibn Saleh's Death

Muhammadu Yahaya, the chairman of the Northern State Governors Forum and Governor of Gombe State, expressed deep sorrow over the death of Emir Alhaji Tijjani Ahm Ibn Saleh of Ngazargamu, Yobe State. The Emir passed away in Cairo, Egypt, due to a prolonged illness and was buried on Friday.

In a condolence message issued on the same day, Yahaya described the late Emir as a traditional ruler who symbolized peace, unity, and progress. He noted that the Emir's reign was marked by wisdom, humility, and a commitment to the welfare of the people.

Yahaya emphasized that the late monarch dedicated his life to promoting harmony, social development, and education, which he believed were foundational for societal advancement. He extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, the Ngazargamu Emirate Council, the royal family, and the entire people of Yobe State, praying for strength to bear the immense loss.
