Northern Stakeholders Endorse Tinubu's Reforms for 2027

Northern stakeholders convened in Kaduna to endorse the reforms of President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing the necessity for continuity beyond 2027. The event, organized by the Pbat Door to Door Movement, featured discussions on the government's economic recovery strategies.

President Tinubu's administration has implemented significant reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and foreign exchange reforms, aimed at stabilizing the economy and improving external reserves. Sundai Dare, the President's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, noted that these reforms require time and patience from Nigerians, as they are designed for long-term benefits.

The meeting also highlighted ongoing projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway. Uba Sani's administration in Kaduna is expanding social intervention programs, including the introduction of 100 compressed natural gas buses for free transport services.

The discussions underscored the importance of local government autonomy and increased federal allocations to enhance service delivery.
