Cynthia Anijekwu Appeals for Help in Cancer Battle

Nollywood actress Cynthia Anijekwu is appealing for financial assistance as she battles cancer, which she was first diagnosed with in 2023. Following her diagnosis, she underwent surgery and chemotherapy, but her condition has deteriorated, with doctors recently informing her that the cancer has spread to her bones.

This development has significantly increased the cost of her treatment, which now amounts to N600,000 every month for radiation therapy and surgery. In a video that circulated on social media on Tuesday, Anijekwu expressed her desperation, stating that "nothing is too small" in terms of help.

She described the physical toll of the disease, mentioning that her hand is swollen and that the cancer has affected her breast. Anijekwu is urging Nigerians to assist her in any way possible to help her survive this life-threatening illness.
