Nollywood Actor Ikechukwu Nweke Seeks Help for Cancer

Nollywood actor Ikechukwu Nweke disclosed his diagnosis of colon cancer in a video shared on Instagram, revealing that he has been battling the illness since last year. He has spent approximately N15 million on chemotherapy, radiotherapy, tests, and scans.

Nweke expressed the financial burden of his treatment, stating that he has received contributions from family members and friends, including fellow actors Destini Etiko, Uche Nnaji, Lizzy Gold, and Ebel Okaro. Despite their support, he emphasized that the battle is ongoing and that he cannot afford to skip any stages of treatment as advised by his doctors.

Nweke humbly requested financial assistance from the public, stating that no amount is too small, and he also appreciates prayers and sharing his video to raise awareness about his situation.
