Stanley Onyekachukwu Raises Alarm Over Plot to Re-Arrest Angela Okorie in Nollywood Drama

Popular Nollywood filmmaker and actor, Stanley Onyekachukwu, has voiced concerns over an alleged plan to re-arrest his colleague, actress Angela Okorie. Angela was recently granted bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja after being accused of defaming fellow actress Mercy Johnson.

Despite the bail approval, Angela remains in prison due to bail processing delays. Stanley took to social media to confirm that Angela will soon be released and emphasized that nothing should happen to her upon her release.

He criticized the Nigerian Police for their handling of the situation and lack of professionalism. Stanley also revealed that police officers were stationed in front of Suleja Prison following a fresh petition against Angela.
