Nollywood Actress Angela Okorie Rearrested After Release From Prison

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie was rearrested by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command shortly after her release from the Suleja Correctional Center. This came after fellow actor Stanley Onyekachi raised alarm about a planned rearrest of Okorie.

The actress was initially arrested on January 26 in Lagos and flown to Abuja, where she was arraigned at the Federal High Court on charges related to cyberstalking and cyberbullying. The rearrest reportedly occurred on Tuesday after Okorie allegedly refused to pay a senior advocate in Nigeria for securing her bail at the Suleja Correctional Center.

Additionally, actor Dori Ogala claimed that Okorie was already at the police station before her rearrest. The situation highlights a legal issue within the entertainment industry involving Okorie's alleged non-payment and the circumstances surrounding her arrests.
