Nottingham Forest to Appoint Vitor Pereira as Manager

Nottingham Forest is preparing to hire Vitor Pereira as their new manager, marking the fourth managerial change for the club this season. This decision follows the dismissal of Sean Dyche after a 0-0 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table.

Reports indicate that negotiations for Pereira's contract are progressing swiftly, with an agreement believed to be in place and an announcement expected soon. Pereira, who was sacked by Wolverhampton in November after a poor start to the season, previously managed to save the club from relegation in the 2024-25 season.

He replaces Dyche, who had a brief tenure of just 114 days, making him the third manager to be dismissed by Forest owner Evangelo Marinaki this season. Pereira's first match in charge will be the Europa League playoff round against Fenerbahce, as the club aims to preserve its Premier League status, currently sitting three points above the relegation zone with 12 games remaining.
