Suraj Ayeleso Named New Captain of Kwara United

Suraj Ayeleso has been appointed as the new captain of Kwara United, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). This announcement was made by the club's technical adviser, Suleiman Ashifat, during their pre-season camp held in Offa.

Ayeleso succeeds Musa Abdulafeez, who has transferred to Niger Tornadoes. As one of the longest-serving goalkeepers, Ayeleso is expected to leverage his extensive experience to lead the team effectively.

His leadership is deemed crucial for Kwara United, who are former champions of the President Federation Cup. Additionally, Alao Mohammad has been designated as the vice-captain for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
