Finidi George Praises Rivers United's Draw in Kano
Finidi George, the technical adviser for Rivers United, expressed his satisfaction following the team's 0-0 draw against Ranchers Bees during their matchday six encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano. This result allowed Rivers United to extend their unbeaten run in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the season, moving them to second place in the league standings with 11 points from five matches.
Finidi noted the difficulty of securing a point in Kano, stating, “It is a good point,” and acknowledged that while Ranchers Bees appeared stronger in the first half, his team improved in the second half. Rivers United is scheduled to face Katsina United in a rescheduled fixture at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Wednesday.
