Ikorodu City's Bright Ozebagbe Praises Team After Draw
Bright Ozebagbe, the technical adviser for Ikorodu City, expressed satisfaction with his players' discipline and resilience following their goalless draw against Sporting Lagos. The match took place during a rescheduled Matchday 2 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan.
Ozebagbe noted that his team had opportunities to secure a victory, particularly in the first half, but failed to convert those chances. He stated, “We would have wrapped the game up in the first half.
The boys played and were disciplined and resilient in the game.” Despite the draw, he acknowledged that the inability to convert chances led to their struggle in the match. Ikorodu City is set to face Rivers United in their next game this weekend.
